A unique home in Portland’s West Hills receives a reimagined front entry.

Perched on a steeply sloping lot above downtown Portland, this unique home from the 60’s was in need of an updated front entry. The primary design objective was to create a more direct path from the street to the front door, along with a visual update to the tired plantings.

A series of tiered concrete planters were designed to support the steps and blend visually with the deck required to access the front door.
